Over 800 Kitchens, oh my!

2018 was a busy year for the E.W. Kitchens’ Dream Team!  We are proud, humbled and so happy to have created more than 800 dream spaces for our amazing clients.

Dream spaces have included kitchens, bathrooms, offices, closets and mudrooms, galore.  We’ve styled modern spaces, traditional spaces, transitional spaces and even rustic.   Determined by our clients, below are our most popular projects of 2018, by space: Kitchens, Bathrooms and Other spaces.  We hope you enjoy as much as we have!

First up… the heart of the home, the kitchen!

The contrast of ebony distressed and ivory Mouser cabinetry makes a classic combo in this open concept home.  The rustic elements in the floating shelves and custom hood range juxtaposed against the sleek slate appliances will keep this home a classic for years and years to come.

Talk about sleek!  This renovated beauty downtown Detroit is over 100 years old and was brought into the 21st century with this custom shade of blue Mouser Cabinetry, oversized brass hardware and metallic black tile backsplash.  Design by Anahi Hollis.

An elegant way to incorporate the two-tone kitchen cabinet trend is by selecting different color cabinetry on the island.  This traditional beauty with all its detailed glory naturally draws your eyes to the center of the room.  The additional detail in the custom range hood and appliance panels screams sophistication and class.

And our top bathrooms remodels are…

This custom vanity was a collaboration between the E.W. Kitchens Dream Team and The Barn Door Lumber Company.  We love the visual appeal it brings to this remodeled space!

This nautical inspired  master bathroom remodel boasts a Yorketowne Cabinetry double vanity in navy with Cesarstone countertops.  The mix of the herringbone gray-scale floor tile and cool paint shade make this space airy, calm and serene.

An oasis of your own!  The dual vanities, marble flooring and countertops and extra deep soaker tub make this Mouser Custom Cabinetry bathroom a spa get-away in your very own home.

And our top “other” areas for 2018 are…

Raise your hand if you’d like to have a beverage or two in this amazing space?  The industrial pieces, coupled with the rustic elements in the island paneling and open shelving make this basement bar inviting to one and all.  Cheers!

If sleek and modern had a baby, we’re pretty sure it would be this basement bar.  Designed by Ryan Dershem and created with Aristokraft Cabinetry, we’re guessing this basement bar serves its martinis shaken, not stirred.

And last but not least, it’s not all fun and games because this office made it’s way to the top 3 of our other category.  Designed by our friend, Leighanne LaMarre Interiors, this incredible design is not only functional with the Mouser Custom Cabinetry built-ins but also over the top in perfection (hello wallpaper ceiling!).

And that’s a wrap for our top 9 projects of 2018.  Thank you to our amazing clients for trusting us to deliver beauty into your homes.  Bring on 2019!
